We had a great family birthday party for Hana last night. We made our usual Ethiopian feast - injera (we have this shipped in), Sega Wat, Miser Wat, Shiro and Sambussas. It was a beautiful night and we ended it with a bonfire. Pictured above are the 3 girls with Geet Nana and Hana holding the picture pillow we gave her. Sometimes at night she misses her Grandmother and half-brother in Ethiopia, so we thought this gift might make her feel better when she's trying to fall asleep.
Thanks to my friend, C, for buying the Ethiopian dresses on her last trip to Ethiopia!
